1. Introduction
MyAffirmations26 (My Affirmations) ("the App") helps you create and review your personal affirmations using flashcards, optional text-to-speech, and reminders. We are committed to respecting your privacy and keeping your information safe. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Enter Manually
The App allows you to create, edit, and delete personal affirmations. These affirmations are stored only on your device in the App’s local storage. They are not uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.
The App does not require an account or sign-in, and we do not collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Contacts
- Location data
- Payment information
- Any other direct personal identifiers
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
The App does not automatically collect personal data about you. It does not use analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking identifiers.
2.3 Optional AI Voice Feature
The App includes an optional feature that can read your affirmations out loud using a device voice or an AI voice.
- When you use on-device text-to-speech, the text is processed directly on your device using built-in system services.
- When you enable the AI voice option, the affirmation text you request to be spoken is sent to a secure text-to-speech service (OpenAI API or another service configured by the developer) solely for generating audio.
We do not attach your name, email, or other direct identifiers to these requests. However, as with any internet request, your network provider and the API provider may receive technical information such as your IP address as part of normal internet communication.
The generated audio is returned to the App and played locally. We do not use this text for analytics or advertising.

2.4 Notifications
If you enable notifications, the App may send you reminders to review your affirmations (for example, when you have affirmations that have not been shown today).
Notifications are scheduled using the operating system’s notification system. No personal data is transmitted to third parties when a notification is displayed.
3. How We Use Information
We use your data only for the following purposes:
- Storing, displaying, and managing your affirmations on your device
- Reading affirmations aloud using on-device or optional AI text-to-speech
- Sending optional reminders to help you review your affirmations
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your affirmations are stored locally on your device in the App’s private storage area. We do not maintain a remote database of your affirmations.
If you uninstall the App, all affirmation data stored by the App on your device is removed as part of the standard uninstall process.
5. Third-Party Services
The App may interact with third-party services in the following limited ways:
- Text-to-Speech (AI Voice, optional): When enabled, affirmation text is sent to a text-to-speech service such as OpenAI to generate audio. This is done only when you request the text to be read aloud using AI voice.
The App does not integrate advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs at this time. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the new behavior.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for general audiences and is not specifically targeted at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Your Choices and Controls
You are in control of how you use the App:
- You can enable or disable AI voice at any time.
- You can enable or disable notifications at any time.
- You can edit or delete affirmations at any time.
- You can uninstall the App to remove all data from your device that is associated with the App.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or to comply with legal or regulatory requirements. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
